Founded over two hundred years ago in 1811, the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Washington, D.C. is the governing body serving 50 Masonic lodges in Washington DC U.S.A. including three in the Republic of Lebanon.
PHOENIX LODGE NO. 1001 - محفل الفينيق ١٠٠١
Phoenix Lodge No. 1001 was chartered in 2010, being one of the first lodges in Lebanon to work under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Washington, D.C. and operates in English. The phoenix is a mythological bird which is reborn every few centuries from the ashes of its preceding form. In ancient Greece and Rome, the phoenix was associated with Phoenicia, modern day Lebanon.
CADMUS LODGE NO. 1002 - محفل قدموس ١٠٠٢
The Cadmus 1002 Lodge is a lodge that works under the obedience of the Grand Lodge of Washington, DC and was consecrated in December 2018. The lodge works in two languages: French as well as English. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month and finish our outfits in the Hall in a fraternal and friendly atmosphere. City attire is required in all our outfits.
